This is a very universal poem. I'm thinking one of your most favorite lines are: "Her eyes looked at Candy's eyes. Candy's eyes looked at her eyes" Because they sure are my favorites. The imagery you've created is so good. I could just picture this as part of a teen soap opera with discordant chords striking with the different scenes. It is written in an amusing tone. Well written.

Thanks for the humorous slice of teenage life, Rhonnie. Your Dante really lucked out, or he was slick enough not to take the bait from Candy.
(I think you need a better title than 'Boys Will Be Boys.' it doesn't apply to your poem. And, come to think of it, neither does your illustration.)
