To begin with it is good to see that you don't do long long chapters. Sometimes I feel the people have put for their post the entire book. It's my turn now to get to know about you. I look forward to that. I love your counter to this: "Ironically this came about after I attended a close friend's wedding and he saw my pentagram and advised me I really shouldn't be there." : "I simply told him, 'Well, I didn't burst in flames, so I guess we were okay.'" Perfect, Iwill have to share this with some of my Wiccan leaning friends. I hope you aren't presently anywhere near Texas. The universe has its eye on Texas right now. Is there lessons being doled out?

What a wonderful story about how you met each other. You are so brave to go to a different country, work so hard and be so open to many different people. Seems like you and Jim really hit it off from the beginning with mutual respect. Thanks for sharing this story!

Hi Ary ( Alie) I just knew we had a connection of sorts apart from both being Nurses and both working in Emergency, ICU and day surgery I also got married in Matching light blue flared jeans and matching velour windsheaters (Mine was red and My husband Greg's was blue) plus dessert boots ( too cold for thongs Ha Ha) I didn't want the traditional wedding so we got married with just 6 people in attandance and then went home to tell both our parents and family! That was 44 years ago so I guess it was meant to be. Loved reading your story of Jim Cheers Christine

Wow to think we had so much in common, the world does work in mysterious ways, sounds like you had the perfect wedding. Thanks so much for reviewing and for sharing your memories.

This was great Alie, question; would you consider yourself reticent, shy, or an 'in your face world?' type of person? I gathered throughout this snippet a holding back, I can understand your reluctance to over explain your Wiccan heritage, and your desire to hold it close. I can guess you get some strange looks (For horns and cloven hooves.) so perhaps that's what I sense. We are close Alie I joke not about that. Throughout my few years in FS I have had my horizons broadened to areas I didn't even know about. Liz O'Neal is a retired Catholic nun, and gay as a carnival tent. I have been given a one-star rating (just once.) So I'm fairly shockproof by now. I found this compelling reading, write some more.
Raymond goes into Hosp 24th to have cancer removed from his right side kidney. They will use a procedure, take a biopsy to check, then blast it away if it's small enough. They are very close to the bowel, and that is concerning them. Also as he has had three Pacemakers. If they fail on the blasting they will take the complete kidney. I have treated the whole thing with a somewhat blase' attitude, so he doesn't panic. I'll get back when it's over. Love U Anne

Wow. Anne, you truly packed a lot into this review, lol. First, healing thoughts and prayers to Raymond for success. If push comes to pull he can manage with the one kidney but he needs to adhere to the dietary recommendations, dialysis is not fun and a pain in the ass three times a week. Wow I did not know that about Liz, who would have thought. Oh bless you, I too have had one single star and the person said they only gave me that because they had to in order to review. To answer your question, it mainly depends on what I am doing. For example when it comes to animals and animal abuse I can be all over someone rather quick.. the same for children. Wicca- I tend to let people ask the questions (except the next entry in this adventure is all about Wicca and my reasons : ), So it depends, I can be shy, I can be in your face. But I defend my beliefs and principals as needed. Like you I have seen it all, done most of it and nothing shocks me anymore. Thanks so much for reviewing, luv u alie.

I'll be waiting. Love U Anne.'

I should post it either later today or tomorrow, luv u alie.

Thanks, sweet sister, however now I have other worries. I fear the next chapter is full of run-on sentences I will have to go over again.Love you Anne.

You will be fine, and you will fix what is needed, I have faith in you. luv u alie.

Hi Alie. So glad you decided to share your story with us. Well written. Looking forward to reading more. You have an interesting lifestyle. Cannot be bored that way. I have some knowledge of Wicca. I think there are misconceptions about it, probably there are in any religion we're not familiar with. Marilyn

Good life, Alie, and thank you for sharing a little of it. So Jim builds boat huh? And you guys are RVing? Alie I would be on a world cruise. The thing I like is that you came to the right State. It's hot most times, once in a while it's cold, but not as cold as where you guys are from. My youngest daughter did gate guarding with her partner three years ago. Hope you're still around Texas, tell your husband to try the coast and go fishing. Thank you.

Thank you for reviewing and for your kind comments. Oh we are not in Texas right now, originally I am from Canada, I met him in North Carolina and we did oil rig gate guarding for a year and a half. Jim loves the water and of course boats but because we are full time RVers (you know sold the house etc) he goes on a boat when he has the chance. Again thanks.

Alie,
I will have to tell you again, that I am not at all comfortable with the Wiccan side of you. *smile* I understand this is your choice, but I have to be clear that I am a very conservative Christian -- but with that said, I will never deduct points or stars for the choices you make in your own life. I'd just like to say - anytime you ever wonder, or become curious about another way, please let me know - I would LOVE to talk with you. (please don't be offended.)
This is a super story and I applaud you for writing it. I often think of writing my own memoirs - the world has changed SO much from my childhood and early years! But I don't really have the courage, I think. *smile* Kudos to you!
This was really interesting and I look forward to learning more.
Some notes, if I may?
1.) During one (of) these days in ER, Jim came in
2.) card. I made no promise(s).
Thanks!

I seem to remember a story from many months back about oil rig gate guarding, so everything has come full circle.
Years ago when I was a child the daughter of some friends of hours who was a nurse in A & E at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge met her future husband when he turned up in casualtty needing stitches in a wound sustained by rolling down the road in a barrel as part of the university rag week.
This is a very promising beginning to a series of personal adventures with that RV. I look forward to reading more.
'I made no promised.' Typo here. I think you mean 'promises'.

I like how your story moves along at a fast pace, without lingering too long in one spot. You cover long periods of background in a few simple sentences. I guess the bulk of the story will consist of your experiences on the road. I might enjoy that kind of story. I'll keep an eye out for more.
