This poem touched my heart. It brought tears to my eyes. I, for reasons much different from yours, often feel like I have no purpose in life. You expressed it beautifully.
Thank you for sharing your work. I feel honored to read it.

Once again, a very moving and emotional piece -- you have certainly mastered the skill of expressing those heart-felt emotions of grief and loss...in reading this piece, however, it is the first time (and I know I am fairly new to the site, so please forgive my ignorance here) I have heard you mention four daughters...wow!! :) ;) I would absolutely love to hear some of your compositions written about them...having only sons of my own, I treasure the conversations/sharings others have regarding their daughters....

Again, that's just the blond rambling...love the emotions you pour onto the page so that the reader can soak them up - the broken meter/scheme really help to paint the picture of the writer's pain.

Thank you, again, for sharing your heart! :) Yvette

Sorry for your loss.

This shows what grief can do and how it makes you forget others around you who also are grieving the loss. It shows how much of your strength and will is lost in the pain that follows death. It seems in the end faith helped you through

In the last stanza I don't think you meant 'but' not buy and 'wife' not wide.

Keep writing
