I love your little 200-word story, mystery writer. A lot of people do live in fear of the unknown, it's a scary thought. I love the last paragraph, overcoming the fear with positive thoughts. "My daughter's name was etched upon the brightest star before she was born." This a beautiful line, I like to think that about my daughters as well.
Good luck! ~Kerry

This is well written and truly inspiring. Learning to live without fear is wonderful. I was told two years ago that I only had one year left to live. It turned out that the doctors were wrong, but feeling that I had nothing left to lose removed all fear from my life. That has continued even after they discovered they were incorrect about my condition.
I wish you and your daughter the very best. I pray she lives a long and happy life.
Best of luck to you in the contest,
LynnetteOK

Dear Lynette, Thank God for your good news!..though I understand the stress of a chronic illness. My daughter's name is lilly. She is beating the odds!...It's hard to keep fear down. She is a medically fragile child. That's her in the picture. She leaves for school in 2 weeks...she's called to ministry. She will be a Pastor. I pray also for your continued good health and the strength to handle what comes. Thank you for taking the time to read and review! I do appreciate it! :-)

Dear Authoress,
In exactly two-hundred words, you've painted a gloriously beautiful picture to fill our hearts with gladness, and there is nothing about your deeply touching story that did not embrace my every fiber and hold-on.
What an enthralling picture of your daughter ... did you take it, and where was it made?
Your emotion, love, dedication, determination, and sincerity in passion for your angelic daughter, coupled with yours and her faith in overcoming such challenges filled my soul to overflowing.
Throw a space before and after your ellipses ... other than that, I see no issue worth mentioning; unless, you might make your font one size larger for us with fading headlamps. : )
I love it more than my simple words can say.
Heavenly beautiful and wondrously struck ... thank you ever-so gratefully for sharing miraculous story this with us! ~ Richard : )
(I wish you all the luck in this contest ... win or lose, You're a star*)

You have good reason for hope, my friend, for I know enough from your past posts and related conversations to believe you are right about her destiny. Many people muddle through repeated calamities and/or health issues, but few rebound with a smile as she does. She has learned well from your own resilience under adverse circumstances, and the unconditional love you have shown her all her life has shaped her own loving heart. Beyond that, her certainty that she is in God's hands quenches her own potential fears, as He has proven to her repeatedly that He has good plans for her in this world before He calls her home. Yes, Fear is a liar.... Superb.
