Beautiful entry for the contest. I love the serene feel the picture brings with the words. You bring the gentle words to life and the peace the ocean waves bring at night. Good luck in the contest

Thank you for the good review.

This three-five-three poem, Zephyrs, uses the proper syllable formatting and suggests the soft nature of these breezes make calm the heart, mind, and soul. Nice.

A very well-written 3-5-3 poem and an excellent picture to complement the words perfectly. A moonlit night over the lake is a beautiful sight and also very romantic.

I love the way you handled the soft breeze here, surely but gently. Moonlit nights so often feature a calm sea with a tender lull of breath in the air. Very peace filled indeed...I was definitely there.
Clever word play
Cheers P

That is a lovely entry--from the gorgeous photo, to the beautiful font, to your gentle words. Everything is consistently peaceful and calming. I like the creative use of the word gentle as a verb. I always hesitate to change adjectives into verbs even though I often want to. This one works so well though. It's my favorite part of your poem.
You should do well. Good luck.

It almost seems as if this was written from the point of view of Mother Nature herself, Anonymous Poet.
After all, we mere mortals can't caress the warm winds of a zephyr.
Or can we...
Best of luck to you in the contest.

This is an excellent 3 5 3 poetic contest entry about nature and being attuned to it. I have been on that shore, gently swaying to the rhythm of the soft breath of Neptune's zephyrs, dreaming and expecting to be blown to Shangri La. Well done.

This is a very special poem indeed. The imagery it conveys and the emotions it evokes in a few little words is truly wonderful. Of course being from the island of Bermuda the combination of the artwork together with the poem brings back fond memories of special moments I now cherish.
A great entry in the contest.
Cheers,
Eugene

My Dad had a zephyr when I was little. It was the first car I remembered. I would stand up in front next to him or sit on his lap and drive...caressing zephyrs in moonlight.....did gentle me.
I loved that memory...thanks
God bless

Hey, thanks for the review. There is another meaning for Zephyr too ... a soft , gentle breeze. Ha, I forgot about the car.
