I love this poem it is so refreshing and is like a bear coming out of hibernation after a long winter's rest. An Awakening to a beautiful bring season the words are just so exuberating and makes you look forward to the season of spring thank you for sharing. Makes me want to get my fishing pole LOL

Your artwork is so striking and powerful. This is a lovely piece of writing. Some of the line breaks could be broken differently. I think it would create more of an impact. I feel the writing is solid. It's just a question of where you break up each thought for flow.

Whitman's "Leaves of Grass" possessed me one fine summer in my youth. I found a lovely leather bound volume of it in a Salvation Army store and spent hours daily throughout one adolescent summer learning the beauty of poetry and immersing myself in the eloquence of that fine poet. Your poem transported me back to the magic of nature and verse and transformation!
