This is a very cute and short poem about seeing an elephant in the zoo. You used very cute words and very cute imagery with the art work. When my mom was alive she collected elephant figurines. Blessings, Teri

Hi Bill. This is cute, whimsical and very charming. I love you artwork also. Looks like a child did it. Iike childrens' art. This mad me grin from ear to ear. It is my first review for the day and it cheered me. On the other hand the threats to the elephant are real. Thank you for sharing

I've just had my coffers refilled, so I'll go for the one point and 2 member cents. I can't even get a review for 14 points. Clever rhyme, and you have kind of tease to the poem, a question and answer thing. Such cute artwork. Elephants want to be appreciated for themselves, not their trunks. judi

No problem. I'm temporarily with funds, which is unusual for me. judi

What a cute poem, so light and cheery. While it's not rare to see an elephant in a zoo, I still enjoy seeing them. However, I feel sorry for them being cooped up like that.
We need a lot more happy things to read.

This is so cute I'll review it for a lousy two cents. I love elephants. I've watched every youtube documentary on them I could find.
One serious mistake, though...
What does "would've" mean?
A. would have
B. would of
C. non of the above
In this poem, you wrote: and nobody would of thunk, using "would of" for "would've." Still think that's correct? Why do you think "would've" ends in "ve" and not "f"? That tells you which to choose.
So, the correct answer is
A. would've = would have
Then why do so many people think the "ve" means "of"? Because it SOUNDS the same. But "would of" makes no sense! The only other correct way to spell what you're hearing is like this: The sculptor used the "wood of" a cherry tree. While "wood of" makes sense here, it is not the same as "would have"!
Now I've taken a lot of time to write all this out for you so that you should never, ever forget it. And please tell others if you find the error while reviewing. :)

I'm glad you got that grammar lesson off your chest, Phyllis. I do know better, but blame my tedious iPhone, distractions from humans, and overcrowded public schools.

An elephant with a trunk, in a zoo
May not seem very rare to you
The question is, what is in that trunk?
Is it good stuff or only junk?
Is it what you think, or is it what I thunk?

A cute little ditty and an especially cute little image -- is that surprise on his face at being paired with the "silly smile" poem for the morning? LOL!! So-o-o-o-o-o, I'm guessing we should be looking for your upcoming book entitled "Passionate about Pachyderms" or something along those lines....? :) :) :) :)
Thanx again for sharing your talented musings! :) :)

He he he but for 20 member cents and a 25% gamble I read it...sheesh has it come to that? Who'd a thunk...maybe if your elephant was a caver we could spelunk ...but if he's as claustrophobic as me it could put El in a funk....unless his trunk and all of him shrunk...
I need a donut to dunk
God bless...it was fun
