This is the first chapter I read of your chapter book. I enjoyed it and I am intrigued to read more. I enjoyed the dialogue between your characters. The gecko was a fun feature.

Hello, funny that Shana can't ignore the Jewish part, heh heh I know how she feels. This was nicely written with lots of detail, I had to laugh at the reaction to the little gecko, we have lots of them in Austalia, and I don't mind them in the house, they eat the mosquitoes, lol. Glad you're enjoying your holiday, sounds nice.
I saw no errors and thanks for sharing your story, cheers, Ana.

Thank you for the kind review. Geckos live in our walls here. Every so often one will come inside.

Hello Barb
I liked how you brought into you novel of the
how Shana meets cute little gecko and Shan's
sudden fear then how it seems that Anderson feel that Shana is going to have a nightmare about her sudden fright decides he set up a cot in her bedroom to be next to her
Hmm what is he up to.

Anderson, I think it just up to taking care of Shana and, of course, winning her love. Thank you for the kind review.
-
You are welcome Barb
well to me Anderson is trying to win love from Shana.
-
he is and if he comes on strong, he will lose her.

Oh I see so it's up to Shana to make up her mind, I hope it will be soon.

Hi, Barbara,
It does seem as though Shana's poor nerves are truly on edge. Though I don't like things that creep and crawl, I love geckos. (Living in New Mexico for two years was a nightmare - I was constantly afraid of snakes.)
The story is progressing nicely. I do hope Shana can see her way clear to love Drew. I think if her parents give permission, it will be a done deal.

Hello Barbara,
I'm missing on this story so much.
I just popped in to post an essay on Trump, then checked the inbox (overflowing). I picked out your post and wanted to say "Hey there, friend."
Still don't know when I'll get back to FS "full time"!
Take care, and warm regards,
Aki

Good morning, Barbara
Enjoyed the continuation. Virtual six. You kept the element of humor amidst the seriousness of the situation (Anderson and Michael guns drawn enter the kitchen) as well as the morality of the situation with Anderson in Shana's room (Papa wouldn't approve). Well done.
Take care and stay safe,
Ray

I thought this was an interesting chapter and held my interest.
The only point I have and I don't know if I'm right but I don't believe that the sentence below flows too well -
Laughing Zachery, again, held up the gecko. - I don't feel that the word again is necessary but that may be due to my inexperience.

I will recheck that sentence. Nobody else has mentioned it. There is a sentence in there that I was concerned about but nobody's said anything. LOL I do listen to my reviewers. Thank you.

Oh my when will Shana ever get over her Jewish hang up and finally allow love to bloom and enjoy life together with drew. I admire the endurance and patience of Drew. It is rare to find men like him today. Keep writing.

This is the first chapter of your book that I have read... so I am sure I am unable to truly appreciate your story to the full extent - but I found it amusing and entertaining.. I typically don't enjoy reading books/chapters, etc., because I have a short attention span... but the gecko caught my attention, because it made me think of my younger brother, who ALWAYS had lizards, geckos, snakes, and any other creature that crawled... not always to my pleasure though... I loved the dramatic reaction to the gecko, and "...The small brownish lizard escaped his hold. Shana jumped onto a chair and continued screaming.
As Zachery reclaimed it, Anderson and the rest of the family entered the kitchen. Anderson and Michael held guns readied..." was my favorite section by far... I chuckled out loud when I read that... thank you for sharing this little bit of your story, and I look forward to reading more... :)
