Jake has to set an example of being physically fit. The little ones are watching. How sweet that Jane admires what Jake is doing. Jake is better than some human fathers, who don't run for their children; they run away from them. You snuck a lesson in there! Your syllable count is correct, and best of luck in the contest. judi

Run Forrest. Run and never tire. Maybe one day you will run for hire. Mama always looks on with pride and encourages us to always do our best. Always hopes that we will pass the test, come out a winner in every race, even though we most often fall on our face. Yay...

This is a combination of a gerbil poem and a 5-7-7 contest that has to show a love angle.

This is a fun entry for the 3-line poem contest. the picture goes very well with the poem. If I was a gerbil dad I think I would be running from my pups instead of for them. Very fun and good poem good luck.

This is a fun poem about Jake at his gerbil gym. It brings to mind a human family cheering on a son of theirs participating in a marathon. Your syllable count is spot on. Well done.

Okay, I'm sitting here, tea in hand, and laughing out loud -- that is hilarious! :) ;) Don't know if its the early morning (and Jake is great, by the way!) or if I just read your script post yesterday and have to wonder if maybe you should get out more (okay -- that WAS A JOKE! - I loved the script!)....either way, great job and thanx for the laughter this morning!
Good luck in the contest!

Thanks, Y, for the great review. Careful with your tea.

No worries -- the tea is in one of those covered, insulated thing-a-ma-jigs to keep the nosy cats' noses out of it! LOL :) :)

I love these little wheels. We nearly bought a treadmill but didn't when we found out it's only use was to exercise a Rottweiler...it was covered in drool, hair and who knows what...gerbil wheels are so much more civilized..lol
God bless
