So right that when something runs out you can count on others doing the same. Appears to be a never-ending battle to keep up with necessary items such as tissues and batteries. Interesting read.

You got me smiling Sankey
about especially tissue boxes with a such good humor saying-- I guess it is an unspoken rule the one to create the empty box should replace it.
And smiles Sankey it's true always keep extra boxes of tissues Me I finally found to by a cheaper brand of tissues other than Kleenex.

Yep Gert I forget where you are sorry ?? Woolies in Australia sells a brand cheaper than Kleenex and Coles do as well. Actually Tissues are the one item you can get for same chjeap price as=t Woolies, Coles and Aldi.

Smiles Sankey You are right like if I go to a discount store, I might find the brand of Kleenex much cheaper than a store

How true is your writing on this subject. I had to laugh as you are describing the situation at my house and, I imagine, many others as well. Great job and I got a good chuckle out of your story.

Thanks Sis appreciate you coming by. I have a feeling the rewards were run 9out too, sorry. I have made a few more FS friends out of this and another post I did around the same time. Sasha has inspired the new Rambles.

Seems this has always been a trait around my place as well. Now that I live alone, I have nobody to blame but yours truly. Dollar store here I come. LOL. Good one Sankey.

SIX STARS 6******. I love the way you wrote this story in such an entertaining and amusing way. You have just inspired me to buy Klennex boxes and keeping them in every room of my home. Indeed, you could advertise for Klennex company. NICE WRITE. liberty justice

Hi Sankey, a fun little piece that doesn't really go anywhere, but that's of course what a ramble is about. Just a small thing. The numbers in prose should be spelled out. Other than that I can only say that's what happens to me with kitchen rolls. All the best. Ulla:))

Great insights. So true, those things are likely to run out at the same time. That happens with my watch batteries. I take them to the shop at the same time to get new batteries, so they all go at the same time. My husband likes to order everything from Amazon, so we don't worry about running out of Kleenex. You might see if you can come up with some kind of zinger for your conclusion. judi

I will look at that (the zinger I mean, hehe) This numbers vers words for the numbers thing is getting crazy.

I remember when we had to use handkerchiefs, which some of my classmates called "snot rags." judi
reply by the author on 30-Jun-2018
yeah that's right, Louise would like me to go completely Tissue too...still like my "snot rags" hehe.
reply by judiverse on 30-Jun-2018
Who ever uses handkerchiefs these days? Kleenex is so much handier. judi

Oh so true. What I don't understand is the person who used the last tissue, in my humble opinion, should replace the tissue box. Oh Yea!! Is there some unwritten rule about tissue boxes and toilet paper? If one empties either, replace it. REALLY, is that so hard? Obviously, it is. At least in my house. LOL I added to your ramble.

Yeah you did add to the ramble I might borrow if ok. Someone wanted a zinger at the end. Also numbers versus words for the number!!! Sigh!
reply by barbara.wilkey on 30-Jun-2018
    Sure you can use it.

I added similar to what you said.

I have a kleenex (actually puffs plus) in our bathroom, one in our bedroom and one that floats from the living room to my computer desk or it could be in the kitchen. The one out in the living room and bathroom always run out way before the one in the bedroom. And I never buy til the last kleenex is gone.

Wow I would hate them to run out before we have replacements. We have a stack of boxes in the Loungeroom at hand. Thanks.

A very well-written short ramble of how things seem to happen to happen in sequence and always at the most inconvenient times. I always try to have a spare in a cupboard somewhere.
