How dare he, is right! of all the nerve!
well, is he dead this time? OR was it someone else????
I have to say, Chico has one weird Mexican accent, but I love the back and forth with them.
I bet a TV remote as a murder weapon, is a first!
It's either the perfect murder, or a case of the wrong victim.
what an imagination you have!
good show, as the Brits say.

Thank you for this very pleasing review.
Ronald is dead. He died a while ago, but I don't think Sterling will ever know.
Patrolman Grandea is a Filipino who speaks perfect English. He's playing a part for Detective Brennan to help Sterling think he's killing Ronald. How would you write his dialogue in an accent?
The battery cover on my remote is very sharp.
Thanks for the compliments and the 5 stars.

Wow... this murder scene was quite intense. The switching between 1st-person POV and 3rd-person POV is interesting, but it works! I gain the perspective of the murderer and learn his thought process. Good job!

Thank you very much, Victor, for this great review.
I needed the affirmation of the two POV's.
    Thanks for the compliments.

If one is observance one would the Venitian's Blind cord, or fill the trash can with water. A third possibility would be an electric cord from an electric item in the room. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a good read.

I like your suggestions. Very clever. I wished I had thought of them. I wrote on the assumption that Sterling's room was devoid of anything that could be used for a weapon.
Shame on me for not writing something to that effect.
Thank you very much for the compliments.

Hi, Marv,

Don't you just hate it when you complete a job and there's no one there to appreciate the fine work you've done?

This was a strange look into a demented mind. I especially loved the part about 'assault and battery.'

Good fun,

~patty~

Ha, you keel Ronald is very funny, Marv. And the understated urgency at a murder is classic comedy. If she's not dead then it's only attempted murder. lol.

Of course assault and battery is from the TV remote control. Doh, how stupid of me to have missed that obvious fact all these years.

That's right too! You have to kill the evidence, especially if can tell on you.

Do you think double jeopardy is when you kill the same person twice, you know using TV remote logic?

This is hilarious stuff Marv and totally unique.

Much enjoyed.

Gloria

Thank you, Gloria, for this pleasing review.
Your approval of what I was trying to do in this chapter has made me very happy.
You think you've written something humorous, but you never know until you get the reaction you're hoping for. I suppose it's true with any emotion.
    Thanks for the compliments.
I like your remark: 'double jeopardy' when you kill the same person twice.
    Thanks again,

Chico is funny. Love Chico' comment I don't know about dee coast but the hallway eez clear. Sterling doesn't take any responsibility at all for what has happened. He is ready to kill Ronald thinking if he doesn't, he'll Finger Sterling. He considers ways and means of killing Ronald. He decides on using the pillow to smother him. He's angry because there's no response from Ronald when he apparently kills him. He thinks it's not very sporting of him not to make a move or put up any kind of struggle. I'm sure we'll find out what's really going on here. Excellent chapter and it read very smoothly. judi
