Hi, Phyllis,

Well, when I was about twenty-three, I had all four wisdom teeth pulled. (General anesthesia, and the usual recovery.)

When I was twenty-seven, and about six months pregnant with my son, a fifth wisdom tooth was impacted. The worst part about it was the dentist had to pull it with just a local. The scariest thing was feeling all that pressure. NOT a fun experience.

The dentist told me it isn't all that unusual,

Just be glad it's gone. You didn't need that while pregnant.
