Very nice! The hardest part of recovery is recovering. Boredom, limitations to movements, trapped in the house can make anybody go nuts. When you finally receive the clearance letter from the doctor and you return work, you feel 'alive' once again!
Well done and thanks for sharing!
All the best,
Monica

Wow! Good job! Congratulations on your recovery. I loved the last two lines-- "Well to return to normal life, working with no pain in sight". Keep up the great work! Well done! Congratulations!

Congratulations, I'm so happy for you. Love the picture included, you all look so happy in the job. I just got out of the hospital so I can relate. Thanks for sharing your good news.

I am so glad to hear that your knee has mended, and that you are returning to work! That is a feeling of freedom, despite your freedom being at work, which is somewhat of an oxymoron... Are those the people you work for in the picture? They look like a friendly group of people... it is great that you wrote throughout your journey of surgery --- and will be able to look back in time, and let your poems tell the story of your struggle, pain, gain and success!

Congratulations on your recovery! And a very nice poem to celebrate it as well! Yes, returning to work, or even to a normal retirement routine, is to be enjoyed, and something to be thankful for!

I am so glad to read of your return to work and your ability to "chase nurses!" I was happy to read some humor from your poem. What a wonderful blessing to read about your ending pain. Congrats to you.

Dan,
This isn't fair at all! I enjoyed the poem and I'm thrilled to death with the news -- but who is that in the photo? Is that you... or workmates? Or just a photo from the internet???
Clue us in!
