Your theme is a good one for a poem. The question about the soul is an age old one. Excellent use of words to create a poem that reflects life and the souls that walk among us.

Hello Rick1024,
This is a nicely written chapter in your book of fine poetry. You provided the antonyms and synonyms of many principles in life (great ones). Your image is great, looking into the soul also through the eyes. The content of this poem is very deep and makes you think about life and the end. Many do not receive a second chance, but life is good and a gift. Nicely written. I found no errors. I
do agree, some things are meant to be in life. Can the soul live on? I don't know. Thanks and happy writing.

Nice poem. I like the way it sounds together. A few critiques: I am an Avengers geek, so I have to tell you that it's Bruce Banner, not Bob Banner. But sometimes switched up named are purposeful on the authors part, so that may be the reason. And secondly, from your notes, it appears you are talking about Christian salvation, but the poem sounded like it was talking about reincarnation at first. But I like your style, and the rhythm and words you used.

I like where this goes and the questioning spirit of it, but there are just too many typos or misspellings in the first third especially, to raise it to a 5 star work. and you have to get rid of "hotness". lots of potential here, Ricky..........meeshu

This is a very comprehensive poem...an in depth look at the philosophy of life, death, eternal life, etc. So many questions we can not have all the answers to, but I agree with you that the soul is the essence, it truly by faith lives on beyond this earth and so the consciousness is, I think, intertwined with that--this is why some are called "old souls"--they seem to have lived more or learned more while here on earth, regardless of the "age" they lived to.

"So Much Pain...
"So Much suffering...

"They are still here due to the miracle Of 'The Gift of Life!"
Hi Rickey wow, a huge difference since I left a year ago, you are still writing about death, but I love your new YOU. Very nice that poem it made me feel different, it touched my heart reading about both Death and Life. Bravo. Terry
