This was a very moving, emotional poem. I cant put into words how much it touched me. So sad and sweet. He lives on in others. Thank you for sharing...Beautiful!

A powerful And breathtaking poem. I commend you for sharing such a tragic event. The words brings tears to me eyes. I have seen too many of my comrades laid to rest and the pain is always there it never fades, it just gets easier to deal with. My wife's mother passed over two years ago and she still experiences anguish and depression during the holidays and personal demons because she didn't act sooner in bringing her to our home. I am so glad lives were saved. God bless.

All I can say is God too lost a son and understands ...you love much that means you hurt more. This poem was an anthem...your writing heals. God bless and be comforted.
Keep writing
God bless you today

This speaks the state of the heart of a bereaved father lost his only son, time could not heal all pains, now he prays to God and Lord to help breathe in pains; well said, well done. Keep Writing -- DR ALCREATOR

Would that I had more stars to offer! It's a beautiful tribute to your son, and it brought tears to my old eyes. I cannot pretend to know what that feels like, but you've brought it closer, close enough to ache for you. I and my family are in the organ donor program because of stories like this. Thank you for sharing it.

A loss can be measured, attained, excepted, and...
Never EXPECTED.
Bless you kind Friar.

You help others who are dealing with similar loss when you allow yourself to remove all armor and expose your broken heart, analyze the pain, the eternity of pain that you must push through daily, every day a victorious win for your dear departed son...for you are his hero, after all...his ordeal and pain is over, he watches his Dad sludge through the mire of sorrow every day and live to rise again and keep going...
You will meet again.

A beautiful review from a wonderful woman.
Friar Tuck read it first and said it brought tears to his old eyes.
