A good Father's Day Poem. You did good. Shadows will be there, as angels, when one wakes may they gather us in their wings and takes us to meet Our Father. That is after we have dined with our Lord Jesus, for He is the way and the light. This is a good entry for the Silver Lining contest.

Do you mean your shadow is on my tombstone? Different meaning then. (shadow's).
"what God arrange(d)" past tense. I can't see the beauty in it unless you mean heaven. As directed from the prompt.
Thanks for showing.

Oh my goodness: such a powerful and enduring message! For so many and to so many -- your words are like a balm and yet they shout so loudly so others, too, would heed the emotion involved! Your prose and your rhythm, although a bit broken at times, fit finally and seamlessly to complete the ballad....so much so, I can almost hear the distant bass drums and whistling wind......
Just a couple of quick suggestions on grammar:
"values thrives." perhaps should be 'values thrive.'
"God arrange" may blend more smoothly as 'God arranged'
Again, your heart is certainly hidden somewhere here among these beautifully penned words, and I truly thank you for sharing! :)
