I believe in angels and this is a lovely poem that reminds the reader that they are there. I like the two and three line verses that flow smoothly and have a spiritual feel to them.

On this I agree with you 100%! Being brought up Catholic we were introduced to our guardian ANGELS by kindergarten... (Angel on one shoulder helping us be obedient to God, devil on the other trying to sway our good will)---I guess you never really recover from Catholicism (smile)---but no kidding, in times of great need, of loss, of grief...I have felt God's Angels attending. I do believe.

We who believe in the Lord can depend,
He's our loving, and trusting friend.
His angel's protective wings are spread
o'er each fearful and doubtful head ...
When we arise or when we sleep,
their guiding hands shall keep;
us safe until eternity is near,
with God's love we have nought to fear.

I almost skipped this work because I didn't think I understood what you meant, however, I always read things at least 3 times before I give up and I am glad I did,
This gives us hope and I really do know angels exist and love of God and His promises awaits us led along by our own special Angels.
