I really enjoyed the rhyme and meter used by the author. It is also a very interesting topic to write about, raising awareness for the aborignal people of Australia. I love the first line. Thank you for sharing!

Hi Devin, So very long ago I wrote this. I had to look for it as it didn't ring any bells! Have a look at my recent Faith if you like. Blessings, Kay.

Hi Dolly, Glad you like your namesake's little story/poem. Thanks for reading my friend. Love, Kay XX

A beautiful poem. It resonates with me, and I can feel her strong love and connection to nature and the land. You have depicted a strong beautiful & graceful Aboriginal lady, who proudly adheres to her customs.

Hello Aurora, Thanks for reading, glad you liked my poem. Blessings, Kay.

This is a different faith poem, Aussie, and nicely portrayed of Dolly's beliefs as a Giraween woman. Very apt with what's going on in the world. It fails me why we can't all be seen as 'people' no matter what colour or faith, cheers,

In a way Pearl, no different to how I was treated when I lost my leg in a car accident. In the early stages, people shied away from me (I was different you see) I said to one woman, "you can't catch it!' No different to a black person saying, "it won't rub off!" We are all whole under god's hand. Thanks for reading my friend. Love, Kay XX

This is unfortunately a true and lasting fact that these traditional Australians face most days.
They are often true and yearn for understanding.
This piece resonates the imbalance of life and all whom live within this multicultural world.
With providing time anda little respect our human nature can truly be enlightened by the people, lives and journeys.
Thanks for sharing
Regards B.M

Bridget, White men think we are savages sometimes. Our culture is the oldest in the world (54.000 years) God is nature, we worship Him. Kind regards, Kace.

A very determined woman to see pass mans faults and understanding. They must take the time to know her to understand her and what she is all about. God is good.

Beautiful dear Aussie. Just simple as the personality of one you describe. Often hurt and rejection in its simplest form can bridge many gaps, for the pure nature of right, the pure nature of love cannot be turned away every time...it will find a way.
My best wishes.

Hi there;
I thank you for giving us a descriptive piece about a different faith as your contribution to the Faith Poetry contest. The image of Dolly and her pace is stamped into my mind as I reflect on the Bahaime belief system. It reminded me a great deal of the Spirit Gods of the Native Americans.
Thank you for sharing and good luck in the contest,
~patty~

Hello my friend, Yes, our culture is the oldest in the world. Bahaime is simply aboriginal for Creator. We worship nature in all it's glorious forms. Best wishes, Kay.
