Your poem worked wonders on a well-known phrase.
Having the 'HATE' reduced to just 'hate' in last line

Excellent. Congrats. Great formatting where Love over powers hate as displayed by the caps in the first three lines and small case in the last. Such a powerful message conveyed in seven words.

This is a very good entry. The poem works very well, I have heard the saying before but it is put together very nicely in your poem. All I can say is thank you for sharing.

a special kinda love takes a special kinda hate. one's must hate for one to conquer love. the kinda hate is the kinda love for all eternal to conquer. your poem had a powerful message and it read well. thanks for the read. "your so vein" means mood or humor.

Love does have the power to conquer hate! Over the hatred that is spreading around in the world, a breath of a simple loving word is sometimes all that is needed.

I agree with what you say in your poem. It seems so easy, but then again, why is there still so much hate all around?
