This speaks poet states faith in God can do miracles every day, his faith, his hope, his trust, and his belief in God needs no proof to be shown or seen, as Jesus loves and saves us all ever; well said, well done. Keep Writing -- DR ALCREATOR

This is one of the best I've seen of yours.
I would like to let you know that those of us whose understanding is that the stories in the Bible are metaphorical also have real faith. Faith is trust in God.
It doesn't depend on believing that green is blue or wet is dry. It can come out of passionate insistence that God's world is exactly as he intended it to be, and seeing it exactly as it is expresses more reverence than making up or denying stuff.
Talking about the virgin birth, for instance, doesn't mean there was a woman, Mary, who had a child without having been with a man. It means that creation is holy.
I don't have any objection to people taking the Bible as literally true. I do object to their arrogance in then thinking that taking it that way is the only way to find God or grow spiritually.
You will find people of real faith living the life of the spirit in every denomination and every religion, if you allow Jesus to open your eyes.

Dear rhonnie69, excellent faith poetry. The Bible verses you chose inspire me very much. It requires faith and hope to say "I believe," in the things you didn't see Jesus do, but believe that He did. Is that your picture in the cap and gown? If so, it is a good one. Dovemarie I would have given you a six, but I don't have any right now.
