I must admit that your typical day sounds a lot nicer than many others typical days. This is a most pleasant read and about a seemingly lazy day that has to keep your spirits up from the sheer enjoyment of it. Your life sounds like a living hell.
Awakening to gorgeous blue waters and the sounds of ocean waves crashing ashore.
My heart goes out to you, truly.

Whoa. Can we switch places for a bit? *smile* Sounds positively heavenly!! I can just picture every little thing you mention - though I haven't experienced them for myself. Sounds delicious!

Hi there,

I think your last line sums it all up perfectly. I worked in England, London and surrounding areas but left three years go back to Northern Ireland and it's like living in the seventies. lol

I have a seafront property - right on the beach. Living the dream indeed.

Very nice piece. Good descriptions and sense of place.

Wow ...living the dream .. eh? Sun and sea and vino..many desire this lifestyle and never succeed in reaching that shore ...can life really be perfect despite what they like to tell us otherwise..?

Not too shabby indeed! I have heard of the proverbial Life of Reilly, but this lifestyle is ten notches better. To say the least, you make me want to emigrate to Spain.
