Have read all but not able to review each one. I've always liked praying mantis but you are starting to make me feel a bit different with these evil stories-haha.

Cool picture. And fun pun of the "pray it won't return." But I dont' think it could eat a bird unless it's a really small one. But then again, it is an "artist's conception."

First two lines connect nicely and
Is the big round blob inside a sticky shaped body! Bird's praying the mantis doesn't return! Interesting art work!

Wait. A Mantis ate a bird? Inconceivable! That must have been one heck of a Mantis. One that super would be one that I myself would be fearful of. I never thought of them being that powerful or dynamic. I guess "Fear The Mantis!" is a valid cry after all.

This one is going to be a tough series. How will you stir up sympathy for a praying mantis? Interesting artwork. It makes me think I could draw. It's in the minimalist tradition, I'd say. I agree with your last line, "Pray it won't return." These critters get no sympathy from me. Cleverly done. judi

That's certainly an odd drawing of a pretty insect. I'd hate to see the praying mantis that could eat a bird! That would be something to reckon with. lol

Another great series of poems featuring some interesting bugs. I love the way you format the poem and of course the humor thats in each one. Keep them coming.
