Nice club entry for this poem. Yes, Who is Jesus and why had he to die such a terrible dead... The Bible says to save us from our sins....that's where our religion is based on....and that's why we believe. There are no proves, we have to believe....

Hi there;

Your poem is presented well, and I only have one concern. We DO know why Jesus died. Without His death, we wouldn't be able to go to Heaven.

God understood man had a sinful nature. God cannot be near sin. He had to send His only son to die and shed His blood to cover all of our sins. Through our belief in this sacrifice and the love of Jesus Christ, we can enter Heaven.

God does know quite well why He sent His only son to earth, and I hope my explanation helps you, too.

Good

A simple poem about Jesus. I enjoyed the cinquain. It doesn't have a lot of imagery but poses a good question. He 'to me' died to save us. Good luck with your entry.

We can never go wrong in sharing our love of Jesus. I attended a church as a little girl and we had a photo with the caption, "Jesus died for you; why not live for him." Your poem brought that memory back to me. Such a blessing. Thanks for sharing.
