I really like this well thought out and clever way you present to the reader the changing of seasons. You've done a superb job with the artwork and the excellent way it rhymes and flows. I really enjoyed this well written poem Mrs KT. Well done!

Hi Diane, excellent syllable count and play on words! Perfect artwork. I think we are all glad to see winter go this year and bring on the spring!

Great Tyburn poetry entry Mrs KT. Yes, the woes of winter. Love the humor in your poetry with perfect complementary visuals. All the best in the contest.

Yes good bye winter and take your chilly cold wind and ice with you. And by ge way winter is my least favorite season. The only thing that I kinda of like about it is wearing my nice boots and winter outfits.

I like your poem and you used good descriptive words to express your wish of winter leaving.
I don't like the coldest that winter brings, but I like the beauty of the snow. I also like your artwork choice. It goes well with your story. Best wishes!

I also appreciate winter?s beauty, but the ice and freezing temperatures have hung on so long this year! Time for spring!

This poem is so timely! I'm sure most of the readers would have related to this. Your poem is in fine format and captures the frustration over extended Winter really well! Good luck in the prompt!

A very well-written Tyburn to get winter sliding out the back door and welcome warmer Spring in at the front door. We like the warmer weather better and enjoy it more.

HELLO POET: People generally associate springtime with warm weather. We've seen it snow this spring. Perhaps that's why many of us are thinking; Hey, isn't this supposed to be spring? Why is it still snowing? Mr. Sunshine, won't you shine through my window sometime: so I won't feel so cold. I've come up with a quotable quote: "Winter's linger, is like a splinter in my finger. OW!!" I'm feeling you, poet. Hope to me, is favorable expectations. I hope that it will get warmer real soon. I'm like you. I like summertime too. Cordially: rhonnie69.

Love it! And the photo you chose creates even more of a sort of comical yet serious plead for some to hurry along. Your word choices are perfect, and I love the beat they create.

Me too! Winter fel like it was going to hang on until August! Finally, this week some warm days, lots of rain (I don't have to shovel rain!)-and a few robins building nests...

Hurrah!
