hahahahaha, What an ending, and I was so into the perfectly rhymed flow it stopped me in my tracks. The whole thing was a unique idea for a great concept.

Ooh, revisionist history. Now Bill you know that that chameleon spent the next week or two trying to explain why he missed the boat, where he was, what he was doing and with whom he was doing it. This may have set the tone for all future relationships, it had to start somewhere.
