This 3-5-3, Burn Out, has the right syllabic format and suggests that CNN, FOXNEWS, and MSNBC are headed for the graveyard. Unfortunately, instead, truth, morality, and basic decency are blinking out.

I thought the wreck on the beach was a good way to reinforce your message. I missed that piece of news--is it because of the opioid crisis? Best wishes in the 3-5-3 competition- Joan

I think this is a good entry for the 3-5-3 writing prompt.
Your short verse is indeed a satire.
