Hi Diane, this is a wonderful contest entry. Excellent syllable count. I love the picture and those birds are really trusting. Best wishes in the contest.

What a great picture and a strong contest entry for sure! I love how the tittle of the poem is Interdependency as opposed to codependency.
Good Luck!

This is a good entry for the contest. I love the photo. Those birds really trust the person who owns this hand. I keep intending to get a bird feeder. Good luck in the contest. Thank you for sharing

A little help from our friends goes a long way and helping our little-feathered friends and others would be ever so kind as they are living creatures and need to survive. Well done and said in just a few words.

This is such a clever poem with a double meaning. I love the birds feeding in a hand of a human. The birds might be helping sooth the person doing the feeding as well.

What a touching and beautiful 5-7-5 poem. It's hard to imagine that such a tiny form could command such a powerful response, but in fact, this instills the strongest feelings of empathy - it speaks to the very reason for living, IMO.
I would rate this small poem with a six, if I had one. *****************OUTSTANDING

what a neat poem and picture. Is it your picture? If so, what a fun and rewarding experience. Chickadees come to my feeders, but I have never fed them from my hand.
lovely 5-7-5 poem. good luck in the contest.
