What a delightful review you have given my poem, and I loved the part about going and finding your tweezers. Thank you so much.

Well I'm sure you are STILL a very beautiful lady Connie but I CAN relate to a few of those saggy bits haha
I notice my face is starting to age and the crows feet are developing well haha
I laugh A LOT
Oh yeah...the jowl lines...they are starting to get quite deeply embedded but rightly so, considering the amount of laughing I actually do.

Now, back to your poem.
You address ALL the worries we have as we age, the lines, the sags the bags and yeah, those delightful tuck shop lady arms.

Believe or not, I have them too.
Somehow the little flabby bits just don't want to work themselves back into gear so all we can do is poke fun at them LOL

I'm having a colour on Thursday, to address that greying issue you mentioned but thankfully NO hairs sprouting out the chin yet haha
My mum has a couple and she just turned 92 so its hard for her to actually see them and yank them out, so whenever I see one I do it for her LOL
What a GOOD daughter I am haha

Why IS it that the hair we lose from our body, just shacks up somewhere else? Like the freaking chin? LOL

Loved your poem. Written in absolute perfect tempo with NOTHING out of place. You are a delight.

Now lets break those f**king mirrors haha

Hugs and much love
Phillippa

PS Hugs for Billiam

Awww, Sweetie, always so good to hear from my very funny friend from down under. Thank you for your fantastic review and for the sixer as an added bonus.
Lucky you that you have no chin hairs. For years I only had one that I would pluck every now and then. My daughter complains about her one hair too. I tell her, "Just wait, Honey. There are more to come." Good for you that you help your mom. Bill's mom
will be 102 this week, and she is always picking at her chin chairs.
    Okay--enough about that subject.
Honestly, I'd rather have a few imperfections brought on by aging than have a face job and look fake like so many celebrities do with their fat lips and stretched faces. Bill and I took a river cruise through France last fall, and there was a couple on the boat who had obviously had plastic surgery that had gone wrong. And they were both doctors too!
It feels so good to hear from you, my friend. I'm sort of working my way back into FanStory but have lost many of the fans I had. I never want to lose touch with you. And "Billiam" always enjoys getting a hug from you. Thanks again.
    Lots of love,
    Connie xoxoxo

My mirror says the same bad thing!
My eyes have baggage all their own...
It really is an awful thing
to find that you have overgrown

Your happy spirit, youthful still,
now hidden by wrinkles of fate...
If wishes could align with will,
alas, I would push back the date...

I am not old, but wiser, certain...
this is time's most golden gift...
But just for now let's pull the curtain,
and schedule us a quick face lift!

(Loved your poem...it made me break out in laughter, tears and rhyme!)

Hello, you are aging gracefully if you can write this about yourself. I enjoyed the observations and had a bit of a laugh, with you, not at you. I guess it is one of the truly fair things in this life, as it happens to us all. I noticed no errors and I think you covered all the body parts very effectively, LOL

Thanks for sharing your poem which was a delight to read. Ana.

All this is so very, very. I can see the truth in you as well as seeing it in me too . this makes this a very good and honest remark of everyone who wants too face the real facts of getting trough life as we know it. from young, too young, old too older, over the hill we go is only a looking glass called MIRROR,MIRROR ON THE WALL. This was great and easy reading.

This speaks about a mirror reflection that reveals the truth about aging, now it is realized the youthful look will not get back since the aging process is on track; well said, well done. DR ALCREATOR

Mirror, mirror, on the wall...Oh, I feel you and understand. I bet many readers will be able to relate to the poem you have written. I like that you use honesty and explain the double chin, now with hairs. Truth and honesty, but it's better to age than the alternative. :)
