Love the play on the word "dug" and the presentation on the page. Very wormlike. Maybe fishermen would appreciate having a lot of worms. Me, not so much so. Fortunately, I don't have to see a lot of them. I'll just let sleeping worms lie, or whatever they do. And they'd better stay away from my cats. judi

Clever, wormy shaped poem here and a profound and philosophical statement too! Haha. Another one to give us a laugh in our day.

To the fishing hole, I've got my fishing pole and I am armed to the teeth with bait, oh man I just can't wait. Gonna catch a dozen fish, do with them anything I wish. I know you will wish that you were me, something that you could never be. I am oh so cool, you are just an unlucky fool. Too bad for you.

I can visualize that worm making its way from the bottom of the dirt to the top. Clever formatting. Yes, there would be a lot and that's a good sign. Seems they help to aerate the grass or something like that.

Hello Bill, I love your poems, and this one is very creative with the great word selection and the shape of the worm as it wriggles down the screen. I enjoyed it very much and would recommend your poetry to anyone that wants something amusing and unique. Nicely done, cheers, Ana.
