Oh, yuck! Just look at the slimeball in the picture. I doubt if anyone's out there with picket signs reading "Worms' lives Matter." Your words describing the worm are well chosen. It's the slime part I hate. I won't mind if your plan ways to kill some of these worms off. judi

I will torture one directly.

I was afraid it would come to this. I expect you to be equally harsh with the worms. judi

Hooray for the lowly worm! I am thankful for earthworms, although I think we have more than our share in the Pacific NW. Looking forward to what you will do with this creature!

Willy looks like he has a slight problem near his middle. What is with the discoloration? Could old Willy be injured or is he just sick. Better roll him into Urgent Care. I fear if a hungry bird should happen upon old Willy, he might hesitate to bite him for fear he might get sick. Hey that could be Willy's escape clause. Gross out predators with his discolored middle/

That is where Willy?s four hearts are located.

Here we go again I see
With topic long and slithery
But if you chop it into half
From both ends then it will laugh.
The worm turns into two at last
A morsel makes for hen's repast.

This is a very interesting and cute short poem about Willy worm. You used cute words and the art work fit perfectly. Believe it or not, I saw three of those kind of worms today! Very good job. I enjoyed reading and reviewing it. Blessings, Teri

Worms are very beneficial to the soil. In my flower beds, I have some that look like small pythons. They would make good bait if I let anyone disturb them. My very first pet project when I was five years old was a worm farm. True!

Here ya go, a worm's fair game...
an ugly thing, an ugly name...
cylindrical, but such good bait...
and I don't care about HIS fate!
Pick on the worm, squish with those feet....
but leave alone the parakeet!
(YOU CRACK ME UP!)
