I think this is a good entry for the Alliteration Celebration writing prompt.
Your 'C' verse is well done with a clear crow story.
Well done and good luck to you with the competition.

Hello, I see you enjoy writing this work with all the alliteration. I enjoyed reading it and I think you have just about every 'c' word I can think of, there are some really fun works coming through for this contest. Best of luck with your entry, which was great to read, Ana.

    Hello Ana,
This piece was just a fun frolic if you will...I so enjoyed thinking of those noisy crows on our clothesline and how cats, kids, my husband and I have had to contend with their raucous behavior over the years. And the truth is, there were another thirty words I could have used! Too funny!

You have said it best and I agree with the crows clacking.
They sure make a lot of noise in my back yard every morning.
I even had a chuckle as I read your writing.
Keep on writing. It was a fun read.

I LOVE it! I have to get into the contest too. But I deeply suspect it's you that will win. This is a really fun poem. Nice picture to go with it, too.

Well, I don't know that the crows are always the bad guys, but they sure do get a bad rap or maybe that is bad rep. I once picked out a crow to watch, they really can be quite curious and rather fun to watch and those sleek black feathers are really quite fine. Good Luck and Best Wishes in the Contest! Sherman541

    Hello Friend,
I know...the poor crows do "get a bad rap." Alone or in pairs or even in threes or fours, they often come to our yard and even our birdfeeders. But, goodness! When there are a dozen or more in the trees or on the clothesline, they are a force with which to reckon! Such a noisy bunch!
Thank you for your excellent rating and thoughtful review!

a ruling on the " K's ". it is great none the less, get behind the fine print.
good luck to ya.

    Yikes, meeshu!
    You are correct!
I always think of alliteration of just being the sound...which it is...but the contest rules say the words have to begin with the same letter! Back to the drawing board!
Thank you for the excellent rating and helpful review!

    Fixed!
Dodged a bullet on that one!

    Hi Cindy!
This prompt was so much fun! I laughed aloud a few times today as I penned this! And the words just kept appearing! What a neat exercise in vocabulary building for students!

Some humorous word combinations. Enjoyable.

But I've read several of these, and I feel they suffer from one flaw:
Too long.

Prolonged alliteration is not natural. And it becomes forced very quickly.

I'm hoping to run across an entry shows some restraint.

Having said that, I wish you luck.

Peace, Lee

    Hi Lee!
Perhaps the crux of the prolonged alliteration problem is that once a writer becomes involved in writing one of these pieces, just when the ending seems to be conclusive, another word pops up that is begging to be included! I had colorful caterpillars and cud-chewing cows waiting in the wings!
Thank you for your excellent rating and honest review!
    Very appreciated!
