How did this perfect entry not win! I have always been fascinated by crows and I love the flow and structure of this poem. I don't think a single word is out of place! I must have missed the booth that day.

Have a great day!

    Hello Michael!
Thank you for the excellent rating and complimentary review!
The poem that won first place was far more deserving = not only alliterative but in a reversed etheree and elevated thoughts.
I read the prompt's title of "Alliteration Celebration," and I thought it was to be humorous, if not downright silly.
We are in the middle of an immense blizzard at the moment here in northern Michigan, and the ONLY birds at the feeders are the crows! At least six at a time. They are so cold and hungry and HUGE!
    Thank you again!

Diane, I loved your C heaven! Superb alliteration poem, the picture is a true find. It's amazing what one can do with a single letter. I once did a B one. Hopefully this will make you smile:

Bombastic braggadocio -- belligerent brigade
Big bad behaved battalion, bombarded balustrade
Ballistic baffled banishment, barbaric bourgeoisie
Boycotted baby boomer blames blasphemous busy bee.

lol. I really enjoyed your poem, I see it came second, congratulations on the second place!

    Hello Friend!
    Oh, Friend!
How I love your bombastic braggadocio battalion of bountiful B's
Yours is far more class than my chaotic crows; that is for certain!
Thank you for your excellent rating and delightful review!

And if you noticed - I managed my B-Hive to rhyme! (lol). B-Hive is the name of this nonsense poem - that's an official names for poems like that.

    Hello Mary!
This was a "hoot" to pen!
We are in the midst of a blizzard at the moment, and I looked out of one of our windows to find 5 enormous crows fighting for a bit of seed at the feeder. They were the only ones brave enough to be out in the elements!
Thank you for your excellent rating and review!

An awesome array of cs and a plausible story. Should do well as a response to
that prompt. Crows are survivors. I'll bet they can live like urban pigeons if need be.

This is very cute. These alliteration poems really make us put on our thinking cap to create. Hard to get a good flow with this form. Yours is excellent. I particularly like this line: "Clutching couples clearly can't concentrate,"
I'm LOL. I wonder if clutching couples concentrate on anything but each other.

    Hello Marilyn,
This was such a fun poem to pen!
As for the crows...good heavens! They are definitely "for the birds!" :)
My favorite stanza has to do with the cats, but...most folks have chuckled over the couple trying to cuddle...and I am certain that I could have surely inserted a few other choice words! Too funny!
Thank you for your excellent rating and fun review!

Hello, Mystery Writer, :)

This is a very well-written, creative, (award-winning), poem. If I had a six left, I would have given it to you. I think you will do well in the contest.

:)

    Hello Friend,
This poem was so enjoyable to pen! I just needed to write something humorous, and crows + cats+ kids+ couples = chaos!

Fantastic! I loved this and it's not as easy as it looks. You do a great job following the rules of the contest, and C is a good choice of letter as I did one in an earlier contest, and I did well with C. Good luck in the contest.

I so needed to just have a good laugh, and the more I thought of those darn crows, well, the louder I laughed.
    Definitely a celebration of "c's!"

CRIMINY!
Clacking Crows
Create Continuous Conundrums!
This line, for me at least, is the most truthful, descriptive argument against these very annoying creatures.

I had so much fun with this prompt!
The crows aren't carousing too much this morning as a storm is brewing, but they will be back!
