Well, Vance -- a lovely metaphor for those bright memories and what a wonderful vision for the wisdom contained within them to flow and take their place in the winds of the next generation... BEAUTIFUL!! ;) Thanx so very much for sharing such a lovely offering! ;)

I love the picture. When I look at the flower, it looks fuzzy not clear. Somedays our brain is like that. Especially when its allergy season. To focus on a subject feels like viewing through a glass that cloudy.

Certainly interesting perspective worthy of deep consideration! but such thought depth is not necessarily reached by many who do not seek the potential truths awaiting their enlightenment! so we who wish to share the gifts of wisdom we might indeed have been blessed with, may only pray and hope that our efforts to help others shall some day be appreciated and taken advantage of!

wow. I went back to this one and I see I didn't see something the first time. It is so elegantly unraveled in it's profoundity, I couldn't recognize this as being one long (and excellent) metaphor about the garment of gratitude. I am humbled concerning my usual ability to assess and I honor you now with this warm glowing review. You are our fanstory king

Hi Vance. Thank you for sharing your good poem which I enjoyed reading. Image is magical and your words are well described. Lines flow well from one to another. Best for me:
"I can feel the chunks of rust breaking off the sides of my brain and sliding into my mind with aching hopes of some magnetic force waiting to pull them together into some unified order of sanity that will yield rich wisdom." Marilyn

Hello Vance you picked out the perfect format (prose) to say some magnetic force
comes the gift of wisdom, if you want it. And, my, don't we need the wisdom of God to simply make meaning out of life these days? If you want the gift of wisdom, ask God for the gift, and then co-operate with God in the life you are being given.

This is a wonderful piece of prose poetry about the aging process and letting God and love keep the rusty parts from falling apart.

This Emotional piece about tour feelings from above was well written with great theme and imagery.
It flowed well and read well with no grammar issues as well.
Adjective Content was aligned well with Objective Content and Descriptive Measures aligned perfectly.
Good luck with this and have a blessed day.
