Clever wording about the house in tow. I can't imagine snails speeding. I suppose they can park just about anywhere they please. You posted this as a 5-7-5, and the syllable count lives up to the name. That's a lot of snails in the picture. The British would call it a caravan. judi

Oh wow! A snail condo. Or would you call this a snail trailer park. I suspect the latter as when a snail moves his whole living environment goes with him. You might even say that like a rolling stone, wherever he lays his hat, is his home.

Speed, you say? Haha. Great thought to liken this to a parking lot. We never see snails but a friend of ours goes crazy with having a yard full.

Well, you're definitely on some kind of Spring bug roll. I usually think of lady bugs and butterflies. Ants even, but hey... snails are there too. You're very funny. Nice work.

Oh no, not snails! One of my most queasy beings of avoidance. I'll do the best I can to read them. Oh yuk! When I see them in the garden, sends me off into the house. Still--I did enjoy this one which is very clever and I must say a great job. (I could do without the picture.) Marilyn

Hi Bill,
I love the simplicity of this poem.
The description is used quite effectively.
I do wonder about the last line though--speeding snails? Lol.
A great image choice as well.
Blessings

Oh how neat is this? I'd love to be so mobile! Fun poem and art too! It's funny how these little guys can be there one minute and then just gone. Probably just that they can hide...ð???

Speed off indeed. Reminds me of the joke, 'look at that escargot.' Familiar with it?
That's quite a string of snails, an entire neighborhood.
