An eye-opening retelling of the way it was.

This kyrielle, People Underestimate Mary's Burden, has the right format and adds more to the timeless nursery rhyme that we may not have been aware of. Busy kid.

Yes, apparently one little lamb is a handful, so maybe Mary could have handled one more. (I confess I haven't had any myself; I'm only surmising.) I think by now you know I appreciate your reviewing, but don't let that stop you. Thanks again, Bill.

Well it was kind of challenging for me to read. Although the the body ingredients of it was okay but I still didn't feel the essence of it because it was too challenging to read. But I thank you for sharing about too many lambs which could present a lot of problems especially for the grass and the ground beneath them

I enjoyed your kyrielle. I have never read a re-telling of Mary and her lamb.
This is very creative and it is funny! I can just imagine poor Mary with all those lambs following her.

This was a joy to read and it was lighthearted and fun. Good luck with the contest. This kyrielle poetry style is appealing and seems like it would be entertaining to write. Thanks for sharing.

This is a good entry for the contest. I can think of a lot of things that can make having too many lambs not any fun. Enormous rise in the level of responsibilty between one and 13 lambs. By the way try this joke sometime. It relies on two things sounding the same verbally but being written, even said, differently. You tell the audience that you used to have twenty sick sheep but one died. How many are left? They will generally answer 25. Because they heard that you had twenty six sheep. Twenty six sheep and twenty sick sheep sound the same. Anyway. Thought provoking. Good luck in the contest. Thank you for sharing

Hi there,

I was expecting a crafty take on the old nursery rhyme here, alas it never came to fruition. Such is it with the lambs. Never do what is expected...
