Plenty of imagery such as the birds pulling the worms out of the ground. The repeating line adds another dimension to this well written poem. Good writing here.

Will the judges be pleased with the same repeating line throughout? I seem to remember using another line from the previous stanza each time. Technically it's correct, and I am not judging. An excellent poem.

This is the most beautiful spring Kyrielle. It's so full of imagery, the words are so beautifully chosen, a real idyll.

I particularly admired these:

Around the garden barren still
two robins hop with jaunty cheer
and grab at worms unearthed with skill.
Does this suggest that Spring is near?

Hi Rod, Yes Fanstory members are everywhere and it is great to meet and read so many different folks poetry I would love to read them all, but time is the restraint. So I do what I can and try to support as many as I can. Your Kryielle was lovely and I am not looking forward to Winter I hate the cold weather and love Summer Cheers Christine
