I'm going to try to read all the short stories in this book but I know it will take some time. Good luck with this endeavor. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Hmm, I don't think the professor thought this out enough! Lol, this is more of a horror story, Bill, and if we stop and really think about it, it could actually happen! This really is clever, it has a beginning middle and the end, and you really didn't need anything more. Well done!! :)) Sandra

Thank you, Sandra. Back I wrote this, I was on a kick of following a theme for ten ten postings. This was the jellyfish block.

Storytelling this short in such a weave of wording and playful shifts the age category a lot and yet, holds the childlike appeal...while leaving the feel of a cliffhanger requiring more prose...

Hi Bill,
Damn those crazy professors, when will they ever learn that they're just messing with the natural order of things and it's all bound to go tits up at some point...
Good piece

Hi Bill. You are outdoing yourself every day with your amusing creative writing. I always say it, but this time I REALLY mean it. I think this is my favorite. Great job. Marilyn

Comment from Gloria ....
Oh my land this is good, Bill. It's actually a horror story, all wrapped up in an enigmatta and a jellyfish that seems to be the secret to immortality. Of course one would hope the immortal ones would be humanoids rather than jellyfish.
Very inventive and also likely closer to the truth than many of us would dare to believe true.

Funny and scary at the same time. Well done.
Your story of the bio/robot jellyfish is clear and well told.
Thank you for sharing another fun story with us.

Meh. I'm sorry...the writing is fine...five stars happily sent to you...but this is nust not my thing....can't begin to get into it. Still, give me credit for not "skipping" it as many do when the find a genre they aren't -usually drawn to! Perhaps under different circumstances...a glass of wine, some mood music, Schmelly might have won me over..... (grin)
