Oh my! This is really, really touching. I almost cried. Love lasts a lifetime sometimes--and it is just as strong at the end. For her too--she is giving him everything she has. I really enjoyed this picture of a loving couple who have run the whole course.

You captured the absolute essence of the experience of disappearing into Azlheimer's, with moments of what can only be called divine grace as an inaccessible memory comes bubbling to the top, before it disappears again.

I drew upon some of what my parents endured before they passed away, but they both physically hurt so much, that there was times of anger as well...Mostly I remember how my mother would share her dreams and speak of the people waiting for her in the shadows... Sestinas are not everyone's favorites, but I was in the mood to tell the story - based a bit on my parents - by attempting one.

I think you did a great job with this; it really reads like prose poetry, very much in the vein of Jack Anderson, in poems like The Mysterious Sound or My Adventures As A Mountebank In South America. There is a strong dream like effect here, as you keep circling through those forget me nots, and time seems to stand still. you keep reaching out in hope, and it goes nowhere. I really thought the style and format very interesting and innovative, very contemporary and here and now, experimental. So for imagination, as well as execution, i'm giving this a six estory

I had tears in my eyes reading this beautiful, amazing poem. I think we would all love to revisit the strawberry fields of our youth and relive those magical moments we care not to forget. And when our time with the people who helped create those magic moments is limited, our desire to turn back the clock is even more intense. The ending of this poem was sublime and when she said "I will" it almost felt like being present in that moment in time ye shared all that time ago. Well done on an incredible poem.
