Well done, great rhyme and subject. I know so many are looking forward to spring, It has been a very hard winter for many. Poor things. I like it cool but not sub-zero and I'd hate to drive in snow. ={

Your verse is a lovely welcome to spring.
Well rhymed, well said.
I makes me wish spring would hurry up and get here. We're in for more snow this week.

This is such a wonderful poem describing the beauty of spring. This poem gives the reader anticipation of the coming of spring. I'd love to be looking down at it's coming from a mountain top. You did a great job and I enjoyed reading this.

A very well-written poem about the birth of Spring and how it makes us feel to see the first signs of Spring breaking through the melting snow and the warmer sun shining.

Great poem to help us start a wonderful season. Liked the image of watching it spread from a mountain top. Lovely presentation that brought the words to life.

With the upcoming move I will be making. I might well be going right out of winter into summer and skip spring. I will move to the Phoenix area on May 3. Patricia

How I relate to your welcome of spring. The snow has disappeared and the daffodils have survived all except one which was weighed down by the cruel white blanket. I just think you need to re-write the fourth line of the second stanza to fit your rhyming scheme. My humble suggestion is ' Fertile soil, the sun a welcome sight'

This poem is an ode to Spring. Rhyme pattern is in couplets, except fourth line second verse. That line has internal, L, rhyme. There is good assonance throughout. The sensual stimulation is mainly visual, colors, with one aural, bird singing. There is good rhythm when the poem is said aloud.
