This 2-5-2, Home Almost Alone, looks good and seems to read this poor pooch's mind as he sadly realizes he comes in second to the cat. Don't we all?

Now writer I love this it has a little sense of humor to it, along with this story of a dog that's kind of disappointed at the cat getting a better deal than him from the household . I just love how you tell the whole story in so few words of how the dog feels that the cat is getting the better deal than he is at the house.

The kibbles are always fresher for the other breed!

Seriously...having witnessed these "hang dog" expressions in the past, when I could have pets, it seemed every time I fed my cat my two jealous dogs would look at me like I just called the pound to pick them up!

Funny with that photo of the caged dog being boarded. Cats do not usually have to be boarded as long as they have food and a litter box. I do not know if you care ir not. But, the proper pronoun is "I"
Not me. It all depends if you care or not. I just wanted to mention it. Humorous with a clear message. Good luck in the contest. Thank you fir sharing

Of course, Pam, but dogs don't use very good grammar. I wrote in pooch vernacular.
    Thanks muchly for your well-intended heads-up. 😉

This speaks the dog feels isolated, solitary living at home after the cat has been rescued and taken to a new home; well written, well done; thank you for sharing this with us; good luck with the contest. B A CHANGE INSPIRER-WRITER -- DR ALCREATOR

Actually, the cat was not rescued. It was home, too. That's why the dog was ALMOST alone. He was unhappy, because he missed the people.

Thanks for reading and commenting, Dr. Alcreator.
