which piqued the interest of the cat,
who ate the shrew, and that was that.'
This was so funny and so well rhymed but I adore Shrews their little metablolisms are so fast they need to eat almost constantly bless the my cat brough one in but I managed to save it. Well done on a cracking good poem Bill as always kindest regards Meia xx

This is the first shrew poem, in a while, that really made sense to me. I have to confess, I often have trouble wrapping my mind around alterative ideas, but I understood this one and appreciate it's dry humor. Good thing the cat was there!
