I enjoyed reading the story about your father and wonder what secret he will discover about hiss dad once in Italy. His two different personalities you reveal quite well - well liked yet can be devious. Thanks for sharing.

You do a great job of describing this child, who we find out in author's notes is actually your father at a young age.
I think you are able to be objective in your description, which is often hard to do with someone you know as intimately as a parent.
Sounds like a good book in the making.
