You did a good job with this one. Limerick's aren't as easy as people think they are.

Thanks so much for the kind words, GMG. I totally agree. Not in regard to this contest, but just in general, I see a lot of posts that indicate people don't really "get" the rhyming pattern of a limerick. Much appreciated.

Like you said, it pays to be nice. Great limerick, I like the twist, that only after he eats his meal he asks what he was, and the answer is him being told of his death sentence. Good luck in the contest.
