Well, that was a cute one-would make a good children's poem but adults definitely enjoy also. Great presentation also-good one for the series.

At one point, I thought of the story of Winkin, Blinkin and Nod.
So away on adventure the four gaily sailed,
Abbie and Zeke and Liam and Luce;
clever play on words at the end: their current location --

Great little story. I guess they developed gills just for the trip. Sure, that'll happen. :)
Badbullyville <-- Probably... no, definitely the best town name ever created! Bravo! :)

That will be easy, they went to an island that is sunny and breezy. They whaled to the island of 'No more worries' it so laid back that nob0dy there ever hurries. Nice and slow is always the way that it goes. No bullies, heavy loads move without the use of pulleys. No police because there is no crime, everybody laughs and has a good time. Don't you want to go there?

Yes, but not by whale.

I like your use of internal rhyme as with lion and Liam and about and snout. This rollicks right along, and the rhyme is smooth. It does seem like a children's story poem, and I think they'd love the rhyme and the names of the characters. Great ending. judi

I saw your name and smiled again. You play with words. They are like toys to you. So amazing. I wish that I had that gift. Thank you for Liam, Abbie, and Zeke. That is a whale of a tale. When I hear an unusual, funny name, I will send it to you and see what you do with it. Good luck in the competition.

I enjoyed this excellent kiddies poem BIll, skilfully written in great rhyming poetry with some very effective colloquialisms woven into the narrative. The story of two kids and a seal travelling around on a whale's nose is a hit. Written in quatrains with abab rhyming also is great, wel done, blessings, Roy

A cute little poem that you have set up with the children. I'm glad you mentioned the misspellings in the author's notes. I was primed to mention them in this review. A fun read!!

This is a wonderful fantasy story with cute language and fun uplifting words about travelling about on the snout of a whale, how fantastic that would be, my imagination ran a little wild and I was wondering about being showered when the whale spouted the water from the top of his head! Loved it, love Dolly x

I love it, Bill. I love the names, and the story. You have a wonderful way of telling these stories that must thrill children as well as grown-up children! (moi LOL) Are you putting them in a book? Hope so. Well done, my friend. Sandra xx
