HI, I graps not in full if this is fiction or not. If fiction wow, the emotions are strong and well done. If non-fiction ditto with a bear hug! The pain one carries within never goes away it only softens. God bless la

So strong a write, and so much emotion and pain, which is a natural trait in your writing. I feel for your pain, for I know it is sincere, and one cannot help feeling, reading what you have to offer.
Keep strong.
My best wishes.

You always write such heartfelt things about your son. I truly believe that from time to time those that have passed and moved on to Heaven, stop by to see us. Check on us and let us know they did not go far. I don't want to sound like a broken record.
However, I am so sorry to know and hear of your great loss. That is a pain that never goes away, a small piece of our hearts get torn away, we can never replace that, but over time it does get better. Never smaller, never less pain, but we just learn how to live with that loss. God Bless Sherman541

Very good job with this poignant poem. I too long for the day when I can be reunited with those that I have loved and lost. Losing is the hardest thing about live. Memories keep me going as well. Beautiful poem.

This is a very heartfelt poem with lots of imagery. It was sad but it was so beautifully written the reader could feel the emotions of each and every word. The poem was a little sad but also joyous in it's own way. The reader believes the writer feel relief whenever they write about their love and time spent with their son.

I'm so sorry for your loss. This is obviously a heartfelt poem and vividly expresses your grief and love for your son. The memories you describe are truly touching. However, the rhyming scheme and structure of the poem are slightly difficult to follow.

My children are grown now, with families, but the memories of them growing up are very much still with me, and believe it or not, I miss those days. However yours are much worse, and your memories are confed to a time-frame. Well done, Rocky, beautifully written, with great rhyme to mark it. Well done, blessings, Roy

Comment from Gloria ....
Nice poem as a tribute to your son, Ricky. I still have a little trouble with the quotation marks, but it's getting easier to overlook them.
Nice work and many thanks for sharing.

Thanks Gloria for your suggestion and great review I'll write some with less quotation marks and see if it gets better reviews Royal and like to gave it 5 * steady set of great rhyming ability but another woman who's never reviewed any when I work 8 4 star stating that didn't so everybody has their own preferences I guess have a blessed day
