So far I have not encountered any of those. I did a few times when I first started with Fanstory many years ago. I finally blocked that reviewer. His review was so generic it could fit fiction, essay, or poetry. Pathetic. Cut and paste is not the point of this site. Great poem that will hopefully sink in with those offenders. Gretchen

So glad you relate. It is an oldie as you probably n noticed but another poster's poem reminded me to get it out again.

Thanks Dolly. This was an ancient poem and I am surprised you had not seen it but grateful for your lovely review. I think I got it out for just such as yourself and many most more recent members. Hoping to get back on posting my Rambles and poems. Been through a bit for some time, now. COVID was just one part.

I was checking out your previous posts to see if I could spot the cut and paste. I see this post is from four years ago so I will stop looking. I did see a send up for Mikey. He was a caution. Hoipe you don't get any cut and pastes nowadays.

I had a really bad review a month or two ago. The reviewer said he was lost in the chapter. Of course he was, I replied. He had joined in 3/4 into the book. Sad thing was, it didn't even occur to him to start from the beginning, as you would with any book. Most all my FanArt has disappeared too, so I quit using them. I had to go back through my hundreds of posts and put new art on the articles. Sending you my best today as always,

Now fun! I thought as much. On another note, how are you feeling? I've been praying for you and sweet Louise. I've had a rough go with my thyroid but my doctor is working hard to get me on the mend. My thyroid levels dropped to zero which has been driving my chronic fatigue. Still writing though and trying to finish the year strong. Blessings,

My Oroxin (Thyroxin??) med is at 150, 5 days and 200 mcg Sat and Sun.

I?m on five doses a day, three in the morning and two in the afternoon and other hormones to bring up the thyroid hormone. I also take Ritalin three times a day which fires my brain and boost my energy. Even with all this, I?m at a crawl. Do pray.

I can fully understand your rant, especially if nothing is added directly related to your writing. The text size you used is great. I like also that you colored font. The message is clearly stated, and each verse support your initial POV.
My suggestions are to expand your poem box. Drop the first line down a space and at the last word in your poem hit enter a couple of time. Also, a visual would perhaps enhance your poem,

Thanks, Sandra, I need to get a new visual as the one I had from Fanart disappeared. Appreciate the suggestions as well. This was an ancient poem I felt like some new members might like.

Your poem makes a powerful point about reviewing. I confess that, though I don't literally cut and paste entire reviews, there are certain descriptions I use a lot, mainly becuse I think they really fit! This review is definitely NOT cut and pasted! LOL!

This is wise advice. It has been a while since I've had anyone do that to me on something they were supposed to be reviewing, but there are quite a few who do in on answers to reviews. I guess they are answering so many they are overworked. I don't have a problem with that because there aren't any rules, and all you really have to do is say "Thanks"

Well, been gone for years. It's too late in the year to climb the ratings ladder. It's pointless. Been self editing. See a few friends I once knew. A lot of them have disappeared. I try to give helpful reviews. Positive feedback. Err-um. Maybe the ones responsible for pasting will see this?

I never thought someone would just cut and paste a review. While I have to admit sometimes, I look at other reviews not to copy but because I stumble looking for words to describe my thoughts better. I never copy, though. Why would you read a piece just to copy someone else's review?

Thanks, Mary. An old friend in here got me going from a poem she wrote about lousy reviews and stuff. This is a real oldy of mine. Things have improved here over the years.
