Yikes, Bill, I don't quite know what to make of this well written little story. To me it sounds as if we have to avoid cockroaches at all cost. Or else!!!
Well, I rather avoid them. All the best. Ulla:))

This is a very interesting and cute little story about the cockroaches. The only way I can look at them over than disgust is in your funny and cute little stories. Great words and imagery! Blessings, Teri

Comment from Gloria ....
Haaaaaaa, that's funny. Juggling severed heads, I've never seen that before, but then I guess I don't get out enough. I remember Mimic quite well and the young fella imitating the cockroach sounds with his spoons.
Excellent story and highly unique. :)

A nice bedtime story.

Call it a turning of the worm. Worlds switch, black becomes white, old becomes young again, the weak gains strength. The unintelligent gains wisdom and pulls those reluctant to move ahead along with them. What that really means is that you and I get to a desired place.

...and Trump could be ?elected? president...

All those dead bodies! Roaches, I hope. Why is Connie juggling heads? And is SHE the one who decapitated the poor roaches she's juggling? A lot of mystery here, not to mention a parallel universe. Definitely enough for a novel. So... on to chapter two! :)

I?m afraid we?re done with roaches.

What? No more roaches? I read that they're going to take over the world once we humans are gone. Maybe they're just going to rest up. :)

Oh my! The parallel universe thing - seems more like the waking and the dreaming times are reversed. But then, that is how a "parallel universe" works sometimes. Interesting and bizarre.

...and somewhere cockroaches are disliked.

He handled Constance in just the right way. She cleaned up and was quiet, allowing him to sleep. She doesn't know what he may do for a living.
The thought of being in a tunnel with a giant cockroach may scare me for life. lol

A weird and ironic story here my friend with your own brand of humor. LOL. Quite original and clever and a wild addition to your series.

It sounds as if you've been watching too many horror movies! Sometimes our dreams take us into dark places and it is good to wake to reality again! I remember living in an old wooden house in Singapore years ago with cockroaches in every corner. You never saw them during the day, but turning a light on in the middle of the night revealed the creepy crawly truth!
