Haha. That would be worth the bribe, I'm thinking but never enough for me to allow the crawly little beasts near. Very funny-a good addition to the series.

Roaches rule! Great idea about the roaches paying protection money to Terminex and Orkin. Those companies are the only thing standing between us and cockroach domination. I suppose that's what the roaches have in mind, anyway. Your tanka format is just right, Funny thought about the League of Roaches. Would it help to just ignore them? Best of luck in the contest. judi

Even better than the last one, Bill, and a great humorous take-off on the Google image. I never realized there were so many roach pictures on Google!

Hahahahaha! Now this is funny! Do you think those exterminators bit? (Get it? "Bit"? *groan* LOL) What a use for the tanka form! You should have entered this one in the tanka poem contest. :)))

Those 'contests' don't align with my calendar.

Ah, shame.

So the roach exterminators have formed mobs collecting payment or else! Guess it was bound to come to that. Poor little roaches, just trying to make a living on garbage, having two or three of their little legs broken by Vinnie. I hope the cops can exterminate those exterminators!

The roaches pay the cops too.

From all over the world, this gruesome bug plagues us. Notice the Florida one is the biggest. Clever thought that they might together outwit the big pest control companies.

I just wonder where they found this dime.

Lol!! This is my favorite of all your Roach series posts. When we lived in Houston, everyone subscribed to regular roach spraying. The guy would come and spray an odorless, colorless liquid throughout the house. I kept wondering if he doesn't do something to ensure his own job security.

In North Carolina they're both a plague and the state bird.

Their efforts will be fruitless, as the only thing Terminix(R) and Orkin(R) wants is to see them die a slow and painful death as they choke on the powerful poisons they dispense. So sad but true, death will prove to be their only due.

Hi Bill, Another wonderful poem about your cockroaches. I love it. I don't know where you get it from, but your imagination is priceless. All the best. Ulla;)))

I hate those pesky things. We moved into a place that had roaches. Didn't realize it until after we moved in. I landlord apologized said he didn't either, agreed to send out an exterminator. It took months of spraying until they were finally gone.
