LOL! Yes, 28 times or more - Mr. Fletcher would be so happy that you taught your class about "fletcherizing" so that they can adequately digest their food.
I love how you pause in between to let them "digest" the new concepts as you teach about "digestion." Perfect!
And I love the compassionate understanding behind the teaching as you asked the students questions to learn about their eating habits from childhood.
Suggestions:
some of our bodies weird sounds, (bodies')
Our meal consists of meatloaf, mash potatoes, (mashed)

I am so glad you enjoyed this chapter, Helene. I will make those corrections shortly after I send this. Thank you so much for reviewing and your amazing comments.

This reminded me of my youth when I used to have a rumbling tum that I found very embarassing. Also as a junior officer in the mess on formal dinner nights we would get our food served to us last then when the colonel -- who had been served first -- was finished the mass waiters would whisk the plates away. You learnt to eat quickly or starve.

Wow, sure sounds a lot like the fast eating of nurses. Usually our 45 minute meal break included getting to and from the cafeteria as well as eating. Even if you brought something with you. There was only one microwave in the lunch room so there was a line up unless your dish was a cold one, like salad. Thanks so much for reviewing.

Thank you so much for reviewing. Wow, you have had your share of difficulties. I think we each have our tasks in life whether they are enjoyable or a burden; but we have to wait for the Lord to dish them out.

I went to your profile immediate after reviewing the previous chapter and found this - another fantastic chapter.
Doff of th hat, scribe, you really can write excellently.
I found this passage a wonderful way to explain to my little ones about being and pooping! I wish I'd come onto to it earlier; but it's not late. Now I can explain without blushing!
Actually; it is not, but it will all become related. Our body is like a machine. Maybe you can think of it as a car. The wheels, the engine, the fuel, the different parts will not work on their own but when put together they become a car and they work and provide transportation. Our body is like that, it all works together.
