Easy, This is a very well written poem you have penned about the tragedy that happens to a lot of very small children in different places in the world. You used very good descriptive wording and great imagery with your words! Blessings, Teri

A poem portraying in stark relief the reality of war and all its horror especially for the most vulnerable'mud-caked cloth surrounds his loins' - powerful concrete imagery

A very sad and poignant poem and oh so very true. It is unthinkable but we see it each day on T.V. You have captured the hopelessness of this poor child in your writing.

The work reminisces the portrait of a dying child divested of his family members in a war torn country.
The work highlights the hopelessness of the dying child and death as the only means of reuniting with his family.
The work highlights it's texture through the use of simile, metaphor, imagery and alliteration.
Excellent work! Keep the flag flying!

Very, very sad and heartfelt poem. I cannot imagine how people can just walk away, as if the children do not exist. On the other hand, I cannot imagine how one could save so many. I do wish that there was an answer for all the starving young and old alike. My prayers continue in hopes of one day finding some kind or solution. Sad, but very beautifully written. Sherman541
